RIOS1931 Off Shore is a classic looking water-resistant strap

When you think of water resistant watch straps, you often think of rubber straps or really sporty looking straps. That is not the case with the RIOS1931 Off Shore as it carries the water resistant seal whilst looking like an everyday calfskin watch strap. The Off Shore watch strap is from a range of water resistant watch straps that are made to blend in but perform. With a small colour and size run, the Off Shore and it's counterpart Deep Sea are aimed at those wanting a multipurpose watch strap. One that will handle everything thrown at it in the gym but then look good on your wrist in the office for the rest of the day.

The Off Shore is made in three easy colours, Black, Mocha and Mahogany. It's size run is limited to just 18mm, 20mm & 22mm which all taper down by 2mm at the buckle end. To be water resistant, RIOS1931 made the Off Shore using a lightly grained Hydrophobic calf leather for the upper leather and a water resistant black calf leather lining. To complete the overall look of the watch strap, RIOS1931 used a square padding which comes in around 5.0mm at the watch end and 3.0mm at the buckle end. Finished nicely with tonal stitching and a buckle colour of your choice. 

We paired the RIOS1931 Off Shore with a couple of Seiko 5 Sports Automatic watches and they look great, perfect daily beaters. Combined, the watch and strap create a smart casual look that is also functional and can be worn easily on a day to day basis. The Off Shore's moderate padding lends itself to be paired with divers like these Seiko's but also other divers and chronographs with slightly thicker cases.
