Music we like: Sampha - Process

A Mercury prize Winner for you...

This album has been playing in WatchObsession a lot this summer,  we thought we would share it with you as he has just been awarded the 2017 Mercury Prize. Sampha beat the likes of the XX, Ed Sheran and Stormzy

The judging panel said: "Sampha's Process is a beautifully intimate record. With its unique creativity, rich musicality, depth and vulnerability, it resonates emotionally and speaks to the heart.

Previously this unassuming South London guy was best known as a guest vocallist when he  worked with transatlantic royalty such as Drake, Kanye West, Solange, Frank Ocean.  This debut album and the prize will surely move him into the spotlight of his own now.
