More Vegan Watch Straps to choose from

We recently took delivery of a raft of watch straps from Morellato with much of the delivery consisting of additions from their Green collection. Different from their Save the World collection, the Green collection contains animal free watch straps which the demand for is beginning to grow. The following four styles are simple in design but executed well to give the appearance of a leather watch strap.

Morellato Abete

First of the new styles that we are introducing you to is the Abete. Coming in Black, Brown, Gold Brown and Grey, this model features a Buffalo style leatherette and tonal stitching. It is smooth to touch and looks great on the wrist. Like much of this range, it is well priced but only available in 18mm & 20mm lug widths.

Morellato Castagno

This style, the Castagno, is everything you would expect from a standard leather watch strap, but, it is made using a calfskin alternative. It comes with a tasteful amount of padding and contrasting stitching which gives it a slightly sportier feel than the Abete. Coming in a choice of Black, Brown or Blue in a good range of common sizes, the Castagno is a good choice for someone looking for a basic, animal free calfskin alternative.

Morellato Ginepro

Like the Abete, the Ginepro also uses the same buffalo-grained leatherette across the same tasteful, earthy tones. The difference is quite apparent in the stitch style with the Ginepro having this aviation style double cross stitch near the watch end of the strap. As well as this rather nice stitch style, the Ginepro is more generously padded throughout than the Abete which suggests it is better for use with thicker watches. You can get the Ginepro in more lug width options with the sizes ranging from 18mm - 24mm.

Morellato Lauro

The final watch strap to be added is the Lauro. Costing a little bit more than the other three models, the Lauro is available in a choice of four really classy colours which includes a beautiful deep green which we are loving. It has a really light grain on the strap to the strap which makes it look like a genuine leather article. You can get the Lauro now in lug widths 18mm - 24mm and with a choice of silver or gold coloured buckles.
